Parent Lending Library

The Parent Lending Library is a collection of books that is available for our parents to check out to read at home to their children. It is sponsored by the United Way of Central Florida. Each child that checks out 10 or more books a month will be receive a prize.

Parent Lending Library Guidelines

In order to preserve our books we require that parents follow these guidelines:

1. Children may only select a book with parental supervision. Children will not be allowed to use the library without adult guidance.

2. Only one book can be checked out at a time per child. Parents must sign the book out on the clipboard. Parents will fill out the form each time a book is checked out.

3. Books must be returned within three days of checkout. Chapter books may be checked out for up to five days. Please return the book to the basket and do not place it back on the shelf. When a book is checked out, parent take financial responsibility for the book, which means that parents will need to pay the publisher's price for the book if it is lost or damaged.

4. Parents will need to fill out a book return slip and place it inside the front cover of the book when it is returned.
