Kids Club is the academic tutoring program of
Cypress
Oaks School. Cypress
Oaks School
was established in May 1994 by Carolyn Elmore and her children.
The original program began in our Register Road building with two
students. Over the next few years the business started
growing at a steady rate to the extent that the school-aged children
needed to have more space. In May
1998, our school-aged academic tutoring program was moved to a
rental location on Cypress Gardens Road. The program was also
renamed Cypress Kids Club. In
April 1999, the preschool program moved from Register Road to its
current location on Cypress Gardens Road.
Also, we moved the
afterschool tutoring program from the rental site back to
Register Road.
The business from that time forward grew at a steady rate
with more and more students each year. Over thirteen years later the
clientele base has grown to include an average school year
enrollment of one hundred and fifty students and twenty employees
between two locations. At
this time we are the largest provider of Voluntary PreKindergarten
in
Polk County.
