Three Year Olds

By the time that children reach the age of three, the world is a new place. Language skills are developing rapidly, self-confidence is increasing daily, and independence is in full gear. Threes are ready to discover new things and master the world around them. They love to learn, especially with a hands-on approach. Like the twos, the threes program strongly emphasizes a literacy curriculum that prepares the students for reading. The DLM Early Childhood Express curriculum is introduced in the three year old program. It emphasizes the basic skills that will be needed in kindergarten. Even though it may appear academic in nature, it is a fun way to master foundation skills. We emphasize literacy throughout the program by combining language experiences with phonics to create a well-rounded curriculum. Our classes are staffed with loving, energetic teachers, and the entire program combines a routine and environment that are organized for maximum teaching potential.
